Vietnam Visa for Indian Travelers

Indian passport holders need an e-Visa for Vietnam (USD 25, valid 90 days, single entry). Apply online at evisa.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn at least 3 business days before travel. Alternatively, a Visa on Arrival letter can be arranged for airport pickup.

Currency & Tipping

Vietnamese Dong (VND) is the official currency. USD is also widely accepted. ATMs are available everywhere. Tipping is not mandatory but appreciated — usually 30,000-50,000 VND for guides, 20,000-30,000 VND for drivers per day.

30+ days: 15% fee. 15–29 days: 50% fee. 7–14 days: 75% fee. 0–6 days: 100% non-refundable. Cruise cancellations may have stricter policy — refer to cruise T&Cs.
