Important Information

Best Time to Visit Kerala

September to March is the best time — post-monsoon lush greenery, pleasant weather, and calm backwaters. October and November are particularly beautiful. Avoid June to August monsoon season for houseboat travel as backwaters swell and activities are limited.

Houseboat Experience Details

Our luxury AC houseboats are fully equipped with air-conditioned bedrooms, attached western bathrooms, a sit-out deck, and a fully functional kitchen with a private chef preparing fresh Kerala meals. The boat cruises during the day and moors safely at night.

Cancellation Policy

30+ days: 15% fee. 15–29 days: 50% fee. 7–14 days: 75% fee. 0–6 days: 100% non-refundable.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes! Kerala cuisine is naturally rich in vegetarian options. Sadya (traditional banana leaf feast with 20+ vegetarian dishes), Appam with Vegetable Stew, Palada Payasam, Avial, and Thoran are classics. Jain-friendly options are also available on request at most resorts and on the houseboat.

Kerala has the highest population of elephants in India. You can see them at Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, Guruvayur Elephant Sanctuary, Kodanad Elephant Bathing area, and during temple festival processions (especially Thrissur Pooram in April-May). Our Thekkady Periyar boat safari offers excellent elephant sightings.
