Best Time to Visit

November to April is the best season offering sunny skies, calm turquoise lagoons, and exceptional visibility for snorkelling and diving. May to October is the wet season with occasional showers but fewer crowds and lower rates.

Visa & Entry Information

Indian passport holders receive a free-on-arrival visa for 30 days. Simply fill the Maldives Traveller Health Declaration form online before departure. No prior visa application required.

Currency & Payments

The official currency is Maldivian Rufiyaa (MVR), but US Dollars are widely accepted at all resorts. Major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Amex) are accepted. Most island resorts operate on an all-inclusive or room account billing system.

Cancellation Policy

30+ days: 15% fee. 15–29 days: 50% fee. 7–14 days: 75% fee. 0–6 days: 100% non-refundable. Cancellations during peak season (December–January) may attract higher penalties.
