Important Information

Best Time to Visit Bali

April to October is the dry season — ideal for outdoor activities, beach visits, and festivals. The wet season (November to March) brings lush green landscapes and fewer tourists with better hotel deals. Bali is beautiful all year round.

Visa & Entry Requirements

Indian passport holders can get a Visa on Arrival at Bali's Ngurah Rai Airport (USD 35 for 30 days). Alternatively, apply for the Indonesian e-Visa online before departure at evisa.imigrasi.go.id.

Dress Code for Temple Visits

All Balinese temples require a sarong and sash wrap to cover your knees. Most temples provide free sarong rentals at the entrance. Shoulders should also be covered. This is a sacred cultural requirement and must be respected.

Cancellation Policy

30+ days: 15% fee. 15–29 days: 50% fee. 7–14 days: 75% fee. 0–6 days: 100% non-refundable.

Frequently Asked Questions

Bali is one of Southeast Asia's most popular destinations for solo female travelers. The Balinese people are warm and welcoming. Major areas like Ubud, Seminyak, Canggu, and Jimbaran are very safe. However, exercise standard travel precautions especially at night.

The Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) is the official currency. ATMs are widely available in tourist areas. USD and major currencies can be exchanged easily. Credit cards are accepted at most hotels, restaurants, and shops in Seminyak and Ubud.

Nyepi is a unique experience where the entire island goes silent for 24 hours — no flights, no vehicles, no outside activity. It usually falls in March or April. If your trip coincides with Nyepi, you will remain at your hotel (which is prepared for this) and experience a truly one-of-a-kind cultural event.
